ME London Will Open December 1

ME London

After a series of delays, the ME London will finally open its doors on December 1, 2012. The hotly anticipated hotel was designed by Foster + Partners, the firm’s first hotel project in the UK. It’s the flagship hotel for the hotel group ME by Meliá.

The dazzling interiors have been on display this month in various preview events associated with the World Travel Market in London. (HotelChatter scoped out the amazing views from the rooftop bar, Radio. The bar’s name is derived from the hotel’s location in Marconi House, the original London home of BBC radio.) And there’s already quite the buzz about STK, the first British outpost of the New York Steakhouse concept.

There will be 157 guest rooms including 16 suites-- all with floor-to-ceiling windows capturing awesome city panoramas; rooms on the top two floors have private terraces. We can’t wait to see the dramatic pyramid lobby. The ME London is located at the corner of Aldwych and Strand. For more information, visit
