Yogis will love this: Lumeria Maui, a luxury retreat for yoga and well-being, is debuting Symphony Of The Senses with four retreats this year.
The retreats will blend together yoga, music, movement, sensory awareness, nature and gourmet organic cuisine. Situated on Maui, Lumeira has luxury accommodations and a wide array of classes, along with healing options from massage and energy work to private instruction and private pavilions.
There are 24 rooms, a yoga studio, 900-square-foot outdoor yoga platform and 8,000-square-foot lower terrace suited for group activities. The Harvest Cafe serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, as well.
The Symphony of the Senses program will be led by Skeeter Tichnor, who will facilitate the movement of energy in participants' bodies through the practice of yoga, to guide attendees in accessing and experiencing beauty and more. Pianist-composer Peter Kater will provide the musical backdrop. The first retreat will consist of a four night and five day stay from April 27-May 1.
A second retreat will take place July 20-25.
