You saw him work his magic on The Today Show-- cooking up his signature dishes from Azul-- and now you have the opportunity to book your very own private cooking class with Chef Joel Huff. To the great delight of foodies, the Mandarin Oriental Miami recently announced this new epicurean offering. Private cooking classes for couples or groups take place in the marbled open kitchen of Azul, where a mouthwatering three-course menu is matched with wine flights by sommelier Cynthia Betancourt. Not only will you learn new flavors and techniques, but you’ll also learn how to present beautiful plates. You’ll get recipe cards, cooking notes, and a signature Azul apron to take home with you. Group cooking classes (for up to 15 people) are also available for birthday parties, corporate events, or bridal showers.
Classes will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays and based on availability. Individual classes are $575 for one or two people plus tax; for a three-hour culinary experience, pre-registration and payment required. For reservations, contact Azul directly at (305) 913 8358
