New Custom Bath Amenities Come to the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka‘upulehu, located on Hawaii Island, recently introduced the Kāwili Project, its new custom line of luxury bath amenities.

The products (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, after-sun lotion and body soap) were created exclusively for the resort by L'Oeil du Vert. Kāwili (meaning “to blend”) products are made with base formulations of Hawaiian oils, salts, sugars, and land and sea botanicals. Each of the products is made with organic raw materials that are hand-blended and free of sulfates, parabens, synthetic colour and synthetic fragrance. Presented in large refillable bottles, the introduction of the new bath amenities results in the elimination of more than 100,000 disposable plastic bottles annually.

“We are very happy to introduce the Kāwili Project Resort-wide,” says Robert Whitfield, regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, in a written release. “These are the finest bath amenities, made only with the most pure and indulgent ingredients – created exclusively for the enjoyment of our guests.”

Working with local farmers and guided by Hawaiian Elders, the Kāwili Project supports the preservation of Hawaiian indigenous plant knowledge with a percentage of proceeds given to local community organizations such as Aunty Alapai'i Kahuienai and Pulama Pono.

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is currently offering the Experience More package, providing clients with a $500 resort credit or $1,000 resort credit that can be applied to incidental charges during their stay, including spa, golf, dining and retail.
