New Hotel & Apartments to Open in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia's high-end hotel scene is still blooming: Dewan Architects & Engineers has been awarded the consultancy contract to design and supervise the construction of a luxury hotel in Saudi Arabia, according to Hotelier Middle East. The firm will build Arab Resort Areas Company's five-star hotel and hotel apartments in Dammam.

The development will have 200 rooms and 120 apartments, four dining spaces, a gym and spa, kids club, indoor swimming pool, retail shops, hairdressing and several coffee shops. It will also include a 600-capacity banquet hall supported by a business center and meeting rooms.

The company has built several notable hotel developments, such as the Abu Dhabi Viceroy Yas Hotel, the Djibouti Kempinski, the Fairmont Resort in Abu Dhabi and the Park Hyatt Resort in St Kitts & Nevis in the Caribbean.
