New Hotel in Qatar: The Grand Heritage Hotel & Spa

After a five-year construction period, The Grand Heritage Doha Hotel & Spa is complete in the up-and-coming destination of Qatar.

Created by J/Brice Design International, the Chateau-inspired, 137-room hotel overlooks Doha’s Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence, the site of the 2006 Asian Olympic Games and 2022 World Cup. Doha is also in contention to host the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Guests of the property can dine in Victoria, a tea lounge that has partnered with Paris tea purveyor Le Palais des Thes, or Figus, which showcases Italian recipes inspired by the restaurant’s Chef Figus’s Sardinian roots. Alternatively, Blue offers contemporary international cuisine in a casual environment, while Flavours serves breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared in a show kitchen.

Guestrooms boast 40-inch flatscreen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee and tea machines and a laptop-compatible safety deposit box.
