InterContinental Dublin

The former Four Seasons Hotel Dublin has found a new lease of life as an InterContinental. Recently the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the signing of two new properties in Europe: one in Dublin, Ireland and the other in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Starting in January, the Dublin hotel will operate as an InterContinental through a franchise agreement with Ballsbridge Hotel Limited. Located in the Ballsbridge neighborhood, the hotel has two restaurants, two bars, and a destination spa with an indoor swimming pool and gym. There are 197 guest rooms, and the meeting and event space is extensive (including two ballrooms).

The new-build hotel in Baku will open in 2016, managed by The Ceylan Group –which also operates the InterContinental Istanbul. The first for the brand in Azerbaijan, InterContinental Baku will be located on BulBul Avenue and Zarifa Aliyeva Street near the seafront promenade.
