New Managers Named at Jumeirah's London Properties

Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts has appointed two senior team members at their London properties, according to Breaking Travel News.

Ian Richardson has been named general manager of the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel after more than a year of serving as Acting General Manager at the property. Richardson joined Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts in June 2004 as Health Club Manager at The Peak Health Club & Spa. In 2010, he became revenue manager for both Jumeirah Carlton Tower and Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel, before taking up the Acting General Manager role at Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel in November 2010. Prior to joining Jumeirah, Ian worked in a variety of roles in the spa and leisure sector.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Chalmers has been named hotel manager at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. Chalmers will oversee and develop all operations at the hotel, supporting General Manager Derek Picot. Prior to joining Jumeirah, Chalmers was Director of Operations at Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott, having joined in 2007 as Director of Revenue Strategy. Nicholas has previously worked in revenue and operational roles at Renaissance Chancery Court (London), The Landmark (London) and The Royal Crescent Hotel (Bath).
