Le Royal Monceau, Ray Charles Suite

For music fans traveling to the City of Light this year, Le Royal Monceau- Raffles has introduced an exclusive new experience. The Philippe Starck-designed palace hotel on Avenue Hoche now offers a private jazz concert with a pianist in the Ray Charles Suite, where “The Genius” lived in Paris for awhile.

This private apartment has attracted music industry insiders since the hotel reopened in 2010. Encompassing 1,130 square feet, the Ray Charles Suite has a private entrance, a walk-in closet, and portraits of the suite’s namesake musician. The highlight is the Pleyel Grand Piano and acoustic guitar set up in the open-plan living space.
