New Picasso Exhibit at the Conrad Indianapolis

Conrad IndianapolisFollowing a talked-about Pop Art show, the Conrad Indianapolis will be staging yet another important art exhibit in its dedicated galleries on the first and second floors. Running from September 4 through October 14, 2012, the Picasso exhibit will showcase etchings, lithographs, and linoleum cuts by the 20th century artist.

The Associated Press points out that “many of the works were influenced by some of the women Picasso had relationships with during his long life.” The Alcove, the hotel’s gallery event space on the first floor, will host a second exhibit with Picasso posters. Free and open to the public, the exhibit was curated by ModernMasters, a dealer specializing in Modern and contemporary art.

Located at 50 West Washington Street in the heart of the city, the Conrad Indianapolis is home to a wine bar called Tastings, The Capital Grille, a fitness center and lap pool, and the Evan Todd Spa & Salon, an AVEDA concept spa and salon. A skywalk connects the hotel to the Circle Centre Mall and the Indiana Convention Center.
