The emirate’s international airport has a fun new amenity that jet-lagged travelers are bound to appreciate: high-tech sleeping pods by “GoSleep.” This week Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) announced the installation of 10 sleeping pods in Terminal 3 and in the Al Dhabi Lounge in Terminal 1 with more to come later in the year.

Designed in Finland, the chairs convert into lie-flat beds with sliding shades to insulate from light and noise. The pods will soon be equipped with Internet access and secure storage for luggage. Passengers can pay hourly by credit card (AED 45/hour).
