New Tea at The Langham London Honors Team GB

The world’s athletes are back on home turf after London’s closing ceremony, but Olympic fever is still gripping the population. Britain is riding high after hosting a spectacular event, and this nation-wide patriotism has inspired The Langham London to celebrate the historic success of Team GB with a special Afternoon Tea. In a nod to individual sporting events, Executive Pastry Chef Cherish Finden has created some delicious new pastries for the hotel’s traditional Wonderland afternoon tea.

‘Tea GB’ is available in Palm Court at The Langham, London for £40 per person, and includes the following: Torch – A Cornish sea salt caramel filled cone, made with British ingredients; Raspberry dome – Made with Kent raspberries, the red dome symbolizes the ball games; tennis, basketball, football, handball; Tower – A tall white chocolate and passion fruit tower represents javelin, archery, and shooting; Macaroon – The blueberry and bubblegum macaroon showcases the Union Jack.
