Trek Travel has a new “One” cycling series, which is all about exploring just one destination instead of cycling from point to point. Case in point: Guests stay at one luxury, boutique hotel and explore the surrounding area by bike. We say the domestic trip that can’t be missed is to Tennessee’s Blackberry Farm. This Relais & Châteaux property offers a fine biking location at the foothills of the Southern Appalachians. Guests will explore the wooded areas (think cycling along streams and down rolling hills) that border Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Hint: Cyclists shouldn’t feel pressured to bike all day or every day, a trip to the spa for a “Total Wellbeing Massage” is a well-deserved way to unwind after a short morning ride, and in the evening guests can enjoy campfires and true southern meals at either The Dogwood or The Barn at Blackberry Farm.

Going International? Barcelona’s Almiral de la Font on the Mediterranean is an exciting international option in the “One” series. This six-day, five-night journey is based at the Almiral de la Font private villa, which has sea views and plenty of olive and citrus trees to set a true Med vibe. Guests get to bike at nearby river valleys, abandoned fortresses, castles and vineyards, stopping for a glass of wine along the way.
