New Vegetarian Cooking Classes with Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons

Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons

Foodies flock to the Oxfordshire countryside for a taste of culinary greatness at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, the only country house hotel in the UK awarded two Michelin stars for over a quarter century. The Raymond Blanc Cookery School opened twenty years ago and it’s been a popular destination for aspiring chefs to pick up some culinary wizardry from the acclaimed (and self-taught) French chef, plucking vegetables and herbs from his two-acre garden, then translating it into masterful dishes. (Chef Raymond Blanc currently appears on Kitchen Secrets on BBC2 in the UK.)

There are a number of culinary courses available at the school, including a new vegetarian course promoting garden-to-table cuisine. Students will learn how to prepare things like tomato essence risotto and poached and confit artichoke-- all with ingredients produced on site. The vegetarian cookery course costs £335 per person, including morning and afternoon tea along with an informal lunch, and will take place March 15 and 16, June 30, July 1, August 5, September 12 and 13. An overnight stay at Le Manoir start from £480 and includes the mouthwatering French breakfast.
