New York's Javits Center Goes to the Dogs (and Cats) In November

If your clients are in the market for a new addition to the family, they should head to New York City's Javits Center in November. The American Kennel Club will host the third annual AKC Meet the Breeds event on Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, located at 655 West 34th Street (between 11th and 12th Avenues), Manhattan.

Sponsored by PetPartners, Inc., AKC Meet the Breeds offers pet lovers the unique opportunity to play with and literally meet thousands of dogs and cats, including some of the rarest breeds most people have only read about.  This family-fun event is an opportunity for pet lovers to interact with responsible breeders while educating themselves about responsible pet ownership and choosing the right breed for their lifestyle.

This year the AKC joins forces with The International Cat Association (TICA), the world’s largest genetic registry of purebred cats, to showcase even more cat breeds. The event has also been expanded to 160,000 square feet of dog and cat festivities, including ongoing demonstrations featuring law enforcement K-9s, dog agility, grooming and more than 100 vendor booths selling every imaginable dog and cat item.
