From Las Vegas to… Riyadh. Nobu Hotels—the popular hotel concept launched by world-famous chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert DeNiro—continues its global expansion with a new hotel opening in the Saudi Arabian capital. Slated to debut in mid-May 2015, the Nobu Hotel Riyadh is housed in a 23-storey glass skyscraper on King Fahd Road in the financial district.
The 134 rooms and suites were designed by the Rockwell Group with both local and Japanese accents, like Cherry blossom motifs. Amenities include Nobu’s signature hot tea welcome upon arrival, smart technology, Natura Bissé toiletries, and luxurious beds topped with Rivolta Carmignani linens. Perks for hotel guests include VIP access to Nobu restaurant and the in-room mini bar curated by chef Nobu.
There are three restaurant options including Nobu, The Marketplace for all-day dining, and the Zan Tea Lounge. Other facilities include conference space (two ballrooms, six meeting rooms) and the Abariz Spa with a swimming pool, hair salon, and fitness center.
Nobu Hotels are also slated for the Eden Roc Miami (2015) and London’s Shoreditch neighborhood (2016).
