The South Beach hotel scene keeps upping the ante. We’ve just received good tidings from one of the most hotly anticipated hotels of the year: The James Royal Palm in Miami is now accepting reservations for Fall 2012. A reincarnation of the historic Royal Palm Hotel, the hotel will join two other properties in the James portfolio: The James Chicago, a stone's throw from the Miracle Mile; and The James New York in Soho. Designer Lauren Rottet of Rottet Studio is dressing the interiors with Art Deco touches, referencing the Royal Palm’s history.
Located in the heart of South Beach just steps from both the beach and Ocean Drive, the hotel will have two swimming pools, a restaurant (CATCH), a poolside bar, a lobby lounge, a coffee bar, and a spa with all kinds of salt-based treatments. Most of the 179 rooms and 211 studios and suites will have ocean views.
