One Last Hurrah at the Ritz Paris Before its Summer Closure

The April issue of Vogue pays homage to the “storied Ritz Paris” before it closes its doors this summer for a top-to-bottom overhaul that will last two years. In the article “Checking Out,” guests (all fashion icons) “recall the glory and glamour” of the luxury hotel, and Kate Moss is photographed in haute couture “one last time.”

The hotel itself is publicizing the fact that guests only have a few more months to drink one of bartender Colin Field’s cocktails at the Hemingway Bar, indulge in Michelin-starred cuisine at L’Espadon, and swim amongst the “mosaic mermaids” at the health club’s beautiful pool. Fashionistas may want to test out the legendary Coco Chanel suite, as Coco Chanel lived at the hotel for over 30 years and called the Ritz Paris her home.
