Club Med Val Thorens

It’s a big day for Val Thorens. The highest altitude ski resort in Europe, Val Thorens was named “World’s Best Ski Resort” in the 2013 World Ski Awards, and is part of France’s Les 3 Vallées, the largest ski domain in the world. Today—with the bright sunshine reflecting off the alpine peaks—Club Med inaugurated a brand new resort that’s the buzz of Europe. In attendance amongst the guests from 26 different countries were championship skiers, soccer stars, and celebrities.

Not only does the Club Med Val Thorens have a privileged, ski-in/ski-out location, but it’s a new flagship for the brand, distinguished by its technology, contemporary design, Carita spa, and excellent cuisine that showcases local products and regional recipes. As an all-inclusive resort, the Club Med Val Thorens is also a great value for luxury travelers with meals, ski passes, and ski instruction included in your rates. In fact, traveling from North America for a week’s vacation here is actually cheaper than many of the ski resorts in the west.
