Today Gordon Ramsay opened the doors to Bread Street Kitchen in London, and it’s already getting rave reviews. Located in One New Change, the Jean Nouvel-designed shopping center in the City, the restaurant is designed in a contemporary, industrial style befitting its lofty warehouse space (think vintage armchairs and reclaimed furniture) and promises a “relaxing” and “informal approach to dining.” Bread Street Kitchen is open from morning til late so that diners can eat at whatever hour they want. On the menu: prawns and salmon ceviche from the raw bar; a slew of dishes from a wood-fired oven; Bread Street short rib burgers and roast lobster. Here’s what Daily Candy has to say: “Already creating a buzz thanks to preopening Fashion Week parties and a 3 a.m. closing time in the works, this place is going to be big.”
