The former home of NYC's fed Oceana restaurant has left big shoes to fill. The vacant four-story townhouse, which sits on E 54th St., has been empty for two years as the restaurant relocated to a larger space on W 49th St.

We hear that the home has been purchased and will reopen as a Mediterranean eatery, headed by Tim Pappas and Costa Youssis. Pappas is the former general manager of Philippe Chow and maitre d' at Estiatoria Milos, and Youssis owns Veranda in the West Village.
