Park Hyatt Mallorca Resort Accepting Reservations for June 1

A Park Hyatt Resort will soon be making waves in Mallorca, the Balearic island already well known for its luxury hotel accommodations. On the quiet, undeveloped east coast overlooking the Canyamel Valley, the Park Hyatt Mallorca is now accepting reservations starting June 1. Built in the style of a traditional Mallorcan village with terra-cotta roofs, the resort will have 142 guestrooms and 16 suites with private terraces. This will be the first such resort in Europe for Park Hyatt (others are located in the Maldives, Beaver Creek), and the first Hyatt on the island.

Facilities will be expansive; think outdoor pools, a ballroom and event space, a 24-hour fitness center, and a destination spa. The Park Hyatt Mallorca will be situated within the new Cap Vermell estate, which includes tennis courts and a new country club (there are four golf courses in the surrounding area). A five-minute drive away, a beach club will be available for guests’ use.
