Many travelers to Paris seek out the services of a professional photographer to document their trip. Now guests at The Peninsula Paris, the palace hotel on Avenue Kléber, can get their portraits taken, VIP style, by Studio Harcourt. Founded in 1934 in Paris, Studio Harcourt is known for its high-quality, black & white portraits of celebrities and movie stars (Karl Lagerfeld, Cate Blanchett, Romy Schneider, and Catherine Deneuve have all been immortalized by the studio).
The Peninsula has teamed up with Studio Harcourt to offer guests this special experience in one of the hotel’s private lounges or in the guest’s suite. Starting with a make-up session, the photo shoot includes the services of the professional photographer and the lighting assistant. Portraits are retouched in Studio Harcourt’s Paris laboratory and delivered a few weeks later in a chic box. Prices start at €4,500 for the experience and can be arranged through The Peninsula’s concierge.
