Recently we got to attend a cocktail party hosted by Ski Utah, where we got the skinny on what’s on tap for the upcoming ski season.

One thing that caught our eye? The Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah, is rolling out a series of guestroom renovations that are just starting to take effect this winter. The renovations, which started in December 2013 and are slated to be completed December 2015, include décor updates to the guestrooms, as well as the addition of granite countertops. The beds, carpet and furnishings are also getting a facelift.

The renovations are the brainchild of local firm Juxtapose Design. The resulting look is pretty classic ski lodge, highlighted by the occasional burst of color, such as green.
