Regent Hotels & Resorts has laid the ground work for its flagship property in Phuket. Slated to debut October 1, Regent Phuket Cape Panwa will sit on a cliff on the bay of Cape Panwa (private beach, anyone?).
The resort will feature 105 rooms, made up of 35 Pool Villas, 48 Suites and 22 Pavilions. The 645-square-foot Pavilions include bedrooms with a king-size bed, sea views, ocean view balcony and a table for al fresco dining. The Suites will measure 753 square feet, while the Regent Pool Villas weigh in at a massive 1,600 square feet. These villas will have their own outdoor pools and sun lounges overlooking the ocean.
Time to dine: Two signature restaurants will be available at the property. The Grill restaurant will serve up seafood and meats in a variety of local and international styles. The Restaurant will be the all-day venue with Thai and Asian specialties. Guests can also visit the Beach Bar and Library for snacks, wines, cocktails and liqueurs.
The spa will have eight private treatment rooms, six of which are open air. The Regent Spa will offer Thai and specialty massages.
