Rosewood Mayakoba Debuts 18 Connecting Suites

Bring the entourage, the nanny, the grandparents and your favorite friends: We’ve got the scoop on Rosewood Mayakoba’s $1.6 million worth of renovation; it’s now sporting 18 new adjoining suites that sleep six apiece. The suites are part of a re-do that closed the resort for four weeks. It’s now up and running again with new amenities that include new treatments at the Sense Spa (think Mayan Equinox Ritual and a New Moon Treatment) and a remodeled gym.

Activity Assistance: The new Culture Concierge will serve as the go-to person for all things to do off-the-beaten path. Travelers can snorkel and dive the world’s second largest reef (think The Great Maya Reef), swim in Mexico’s signature cenotes or head to the adventure park Xplor to zipline.

Star Struck: The Stargazing Storyteller will provide evening entertainment for any little ones in tow, even on the beach, where she’ll also give astronomy lessons.

The all-suite resort has individual plunge pools, personal butlers, private decks and more—all of which combine to make it a great option for romance or family travel.
