Slated to open in late 2016, Rosewood Phnom Penh is one of the year’s most highly anticipated luxury hotels openings. This is Rosewood’s seventh management agreement in Asia (joining high-end properties in Phuket, Bangkok, Bali, Sanya, Guangzhou and Jakarta). Accessed by high-speed elevator , Rosewood Phnom Penh will be situated on the top 14 floors of the Vattanac Capital Tower One in the Central Business District. This will be the city’s highest skyscraper -- soaring 188 meters (39 stories) above the Cambodian capital.
Rosewood Phnom Penh will have 148 rooms and suites along with 27 residences for long-stay visitors. The hotel’s Sense spa will come with five treatment rooms, a fitness center and a 20-meter swimming pool. Other facilities include meeting/function space, 120-seat bistro, a lobby lounge, two fine dining restaurants and — perhaps the hotel highlight — the sky bar perched on a cantilevered terrace.
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts plans to operate 50 global hotels by the year 2020, including Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel in Paris that is currently undergoing a large-scale restoration.
