Shangri-La Opens Third Hotel in Malaysia

The design team drew inspiration from Filipino fashion, jewelry and antique gold, and also used local talents.

On Saturday, June 1, Malaysia received a third helping of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts' Traders brand with the opening of the 283-room Traders Hotel, Puteri Harbour.

Just a 20-minute drive from downtown Singapore, the hotel's rooms range from 355 to 1,033 square feet and include spacious bathrooms, 40-inch televisions and mini bars and more. The Traders Club floor has a private lounge with breakfast, refreshments and evening cocktails; personalized check-in and check-out; meeting areas and a Club concierge. Other hotel amenities include free wi-fi, a rooftop infinity pool, a health club, rooftop garden and more.
