Shangri-La Opens Traders Hotel in Brisbane

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has officially assumed management of Traders Hotel, Brisbane—the first Traders Hotel operated by the group in Australia. This marks the hotel group’s third venture in the continent following its recent acquisition of the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney and its current majority stake in Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina in Cairns.

After China and the United States, the Australia represents the third largest market for Shangri-La and forms a key substantial membership base within the worldwide network of 2.1 million members of the company’s loyalty program, Golden Circle.

MJ’s Restaurant and Bar at Traders Hotel, Brisbane will provide all-day Australian cuisine with the option of both set and a la carte menu options. MJ’s Bar will offer a selection of beverages and light snacks, and there are plenty of restaurants located in the nearby dining district of Southbank.
