Shang Palace, Shangri-La Hotel ParisThe Paris food world is seeing stars today, and the blogosphere is abuzz about the latest restaurants to score top honors from Michelin. As we reported earlier today, the Michelin Guide 2012-- hot off the press-- has bestowed a constellation of stars on restaurants across the Hexagon (including Flocons de Sel in Megeve, which brings the total number of Michelin three-starred restaurants in France to 26).

Particularly buzzworthy: The Shangri-La Hotel, Paris received accolades for two of its restaurants: two stars for chef Philippe Labbé at L'Abeille, the gastronomic French restaurant; and one star for chef Frank Xu at Shang Palace, the Cantonese gourmet restaurant that only opened in September 2011.
