Shangri-La Singapore Reopens the Renovated Garden Wing

Last October, the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore closed its Garden Wing for a complete overhaul. Fast forward eight months and the wing has reopened with a splash. The setting: 15 lush acres of tropical gardens complete with cascading waterfalls and a koi ponds. (Talk about a respite from the urban jungle!) The wing has a refreshed interior design with a natural theme; there’s also a new restaurant, and spa, the first signature CHI spa in Singapore.

Each of the 158 tranquil guest rooms has a private bougainvillea-covered balcony with two armchairs and a coffee table overlooking the city or the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool. Amenities include marble bathrooms with separate bath and shower, premium toiletries, and complimentary Wifi and bottled water. 24-hour butlers are available. The crème de la crème: the three premier balcony suites with outdoor Jacuzzis, private barbeque grills, and sun loungers.
