Solis Sochi Hotel and Suites

The Winter Olympic Games will soon arrive in Sochi. Just in time for Russia’s big 2014 event, a swank new property from the Capella Hotel Group will make its debut in the Caucasus mountains. Located in Gorky Gorod 960, the new luxury village, Solis Sochi Hotel & Suites will have direct ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes of the Krasnaya Polyana ski resort. (For experienced skiers, backcountry tours are also available.) Perched on the mountain, the Solis Hotel will have 120 rooms with panoramic views, while the more intimate Solis Suites will offer 52 rooms and suites.

Beyond the obvious attractions of the winter ski season, the resort aims to attract an upscale clientele to its medically-focused spa center. F&B outlets include a traditional alpine restaurant called Le Chalet, an après-ski café, and the gourmet Grill restaurant. A heated terrace overlooks the valley. Year-round recreational activities include hiking and horseback riding in the mountains. For more information, visit www.solishotels.com
