It's the end of an era for fans of South Africa's The Westcliff, but it's the beginning of a new one for Four Seasons. We hear the luxury brand has signed a management agreement with the owners of The Westcliff and will emerge as Four Seasons Hotel Westcliff Johannesburg in 2014.

The property is set on a cliffside garden in Johannesburg. It was closed on June 30 for renovations and new construction. Upon reopening, Four Seasons Hotel Westcliff Johannesburg will have a new restaurant and bar concept, as well as an expanded outdoor terrace (which, we hear, will have views of the Magaliesberg hills).

A brand new spa is also in the works, as is a fitness center and outdoor pool.
