The Spa at Hermitage Bay Celebrates Spring with New Facial

Hermitage Bay, Antigua in the CaribbeanThe Garden Spa at Hermitage Bay has added a springtime facial to its garden spa menu. On the west coast of Antigua overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the Island ‘Spring’ Time treatment features ingredients direct from the resort’s own organic garden.

Before the 90-minute facial begins, guests will be offered warm tea with lemongrass from the resort's own garden. Starting with a macadamia, almond, and rosemary cleanse, the treatment will then involve a gentle exfoliation using milled oats before nutmeg powder and pure rose-distilled water to tone the skin. Then, a coconut jelly, soursoap pulp and aloe blended mask is applied, ending the facial, to hydrate and nurture skin.

Other treatments at the spa included the signature Island Time treatment featuring the garden's fresh aloe, coconuts, basil, eucalyptus and mint, into a gentle body scrub and massage. Alternately, guests can opt for organic treatments from $180 at the Garden Spa or from within a Pool Suite or Beachfront Cottage. Surrounded by more than 140 acres of undeveloped land, Hermitage Bay has 25 freestanding Cottage Suites at its Caribbean resort.
