The St. Giles Hotel Group has announced that it will temporarily close The Tuscany Hotel in New York for renovations, starting February 11, 2012 with reopening expected sometime in the third quarter of 2012.

The Tuscany is one half of the two-part St. Giles Hotel New York, which is comprised of The Tuscany and The Court, both of which were acquired last year from Starwood Hotels & Resorts and previously flagged as W Hotels. In the heart of Murray Hill, The Tuscany boasts 120 residential-style guestrooms and suites, some of which have terraces and patios with views of famous New York City landmarks. All rooms boast oversized living areas, spacious baths and walk-in closets.
