Starwood to Open Westin in Singapore by 2013

Singapore

Singapore is on track to welcome a Westin Hotel in 2013. The Westin Singapore Marina Bay will offer 305 rooms and all the signature touches that have become part of the Westin name.

The rooms (all sustainable, we hear) will use eco-friendly materials such as the motion sensor, water-saving low-flow faucets and showerheads and green label furniture. The new design has awarded the hotel the LEED Platinum pre-certification.

The hotel will also host The Heavenly Spa by Westin, banquet facilities, The Gastro Bar Specialty Restaurant and the WestinWORKOUT gym
