Sunday Night Film Club at Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris

Le Royal Monceau Paris

Looking for a unique cultural experience in Paris? How about a movie paired with treats from pastry king Pierre Hermé? Le Royal Monceau-Raffles, the palace hotel designed by Philippe Starck on Avenue Hoche, recently rolled out Sunday Night Film Club in its screening room, Le Cinéma des Lumières. This private movie theatre is kitted out with 99 large leather seats and the latest technology (like 3D).

On Sunday evenings, classic films like Skyfall and Love Actually are screened to an audience treated to Champagne and caramelized popcorn. It’s not just hotel guests who are privy to this offering; visitors can also reserve a place at the theatre. The “Champagne Royale” is priced from 40 euros per person and includes a glass of Champagne served in your movie seat, plus gourmet popcorn. The “Dinner Royale” is priced from 95 euros per person and includes a two-course dinner at La Cuisine, the Michelin-starred restaurant, after the screening.
