Oenophiles (and those who just like a good drink) will flock to the Marquis Los Cabos Resort to check out its two new educational tasting experiences, focusing on the art of winemaking and tequila distillery.
The Mexican Wine Experience calls viticulturists to enjoy a tasting of four boutique wines paired with tapas, while learning about Mexico's wine culture. We hear that two of the wines are exclusive to the resort (think the Marquis Sauvignon Blanc and the Marquis Tinto Cabernet).
The Tequila Tasting Experience explores the finer points of the distillation process, the different classifications of tequila, and (most importantly) the right way to drink it. Marquis Los Cabos offers over 85 brands of tequila on its menu. Luxe touch: The resort even offers a $1,000 Tequilas Premium Clase Azul tequila popsicle, complete with flakes of gold.
