Swissotel Makkah to Open Next Month

When it opens next month on the first day of Ramadan, the Swissôtel Makkah will be one of the largest hotels in Saudi Arabia with 1,487 rooms and suites, Trade Arabia is reporting.

Swissôtel Makkah marks the group’s first venture in the Middle East, and will reportedly have top views of the Grand Mosque and the Holy Kaaba. It is expected to cater to both pilgrims and business travelers. 

Culinary options will include Al Rowad restaurant, a casual eatery with cuisine from North Africa, Indonesia, Middle East and India; Café Swiss, with traditional and international specialties; and Ajwa restaurant, with a more upscale international menu.
