Swissôtel to Open New Resort in Sanya, China in 2015

China's Sanya, a tropical destination off the southern coast of the country, has been a rising luxury hotspot over the past couple of years, and now we hear visitors to the destination have a little something extra to get excited about.

The newest Swissôtel Resort, scheduled to open in 2015, will be part of the Sanya Dragon Valley Hot Spring & Golf Resort, which includes one of the most posh 18-hole golf courses in the region.

The resort will offer 300 rooms and suites, four restaurants and bars, meeting space and an outdoor pool.

We also hear there will be a Pürovel Spa & Sport facility.

Good to know: Sanya has one of the most open travel policies in China. It provides 15 days visa-free visits for U.S. citizens, as well as visitors from Germany, France, Australia and others.
