On Tap: The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal to Debut

AbuDhabi

Looking for the latest Abu Dhabi action? We hear that Ritz-Carlton is expanding its portfolio to the United Arab Emirates capital

Scheduled to open later this year, The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal will feature 447 guest rooms and suites, as well as 85 villas. We love the design of the property (think 17th-century Renaissance combined with artfully designed water features).

Top touch: Book your VIP clients in the one and two-bedroom villas, which range from 968 to 1,400 square feet and are complete with outdoor terraces and personalized butler service.

Diner's delight: The 54-acre property is sure to be an epicurean playground, with an all-day dining Italian restaurant; a steak and seafood restaurant; a Middle Eastern restaurant and an Asian restaurant.

Looking for some rooftop repose? The Ritz-Carlton will offer a rooftop terrace. There will also be two poolside bars, and a Lobby Lounge and bar.

The spa, managed by ESPA, will measure an impressive 21,500 square feet and will have a separate entrance. Guests will have their pick of 20 private treatment rooms, a fully equipped fitness center, outdoor tennis courts and more.
