Langham London, royal baby cocktailNo doubt the birth of the royal baby will be a boon for the London tourism sector. Just hours after the happy occasion was made official, luxury hotels started rolling out special offers. Leave it to The Langham, home to one of our favorite hotel bars in the world, to come up with an appropriately festive drink to fete HRH Prince of Cambridge.

International Bartender of The Year Alex Kratena concocted the special Champagne cocktail with Tapatio tequila, cedar wood syrup, lemon juice and Peychaud’s bitters with Ruinart blanc de blancs, which he serves in a coupe decorated with scented blue crepe paper. Priced at £16.50, the  "Royal Toast" cocktail will be available until August 22, 2013.

The glam Artesian bar has racked up the awards over the years. Designed by David Collins, Artesian takes its name from the 365-foot well under the hotel which originally supplied all the fresh water for guests. For more information, visit www.langhamhotels.co.uk.
