Tour Op Celebrates Lift of Tiger Tourism Ban

Wildlife seekers listen up: Earlier this year the Indian Supreme Court placed a ban on tiger tourism. Good news, though! We hear the ban has been lifted and visitors can continue to look for these beasts of the jungle.

Wild Planet Adventures has launched a new 19-day safari, Untamed India and Nepal, to take advantage of the recently lifted ban. The safari visits Satpura and Bandhavgarh, as well as Chambal riverside wildlife sanctuary and includes cultural and spiritual experiences on the Ganges in Varanasi, the erotic temples of Khajuraho and the Buddhist stupas of Katmandu.

The 19-day journey begins at $7,698.
