Traveling Gourmet: Maine Restaurant Revamped

New Anglophiles craving seascapes and lobster will delight in the Prentice Hospitality Group acquisition of Diamond's Edge Restaurant & Marina. Located on Great Diamond Island in Casco Bay, Maine, this restaurant will be expanding its culinary offerings under its new ownership.

Prentice Hospitality Group also owns and operates Chebeague Island Inn, just 20 minutes from the restaurant. General Manger Casey Prentice said in a release, "Diamond Edge is an iconic destination that was once renewed among residents and visitors up and down the coast. We're looking forward to bringing the restaurant back to the glory days of fine dining and vacationing in Southern Maine."

We hear the restaurant is open from May through October and also offers space for weddings and functions of up to 750 people.

Head Chef of Chebeague Inn, Justin Rowe, will be lending his hands to the dining operations at Diamond's Edge.
