Trump Plans More Hotels in Latin America

Trump Ocean Club, Panama

Trump Ocean Club, PanamaTrump made a splash in Latin America last year, when the Hotel Collection opened the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower Panama-- located on Punta Pacifica's shorefront not far from the capital city's financial district. This was the first international property for Trump, and a noteworthy one at that: housed in the largest and tallest building in Latin America.

Now Bloomberg Businessweek reports that Donald Trump is planning to expand his hotel empire across Latin America. The Panama hotel “is attracting guests even after a boom in hotel construction in Latin America’s fastest-growing economy,” says Trump, and the brand has an eye on Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Costa Rica and Mexico.
