Vegas' Hottest Pool Scenes

Today's the day in Las Vegas where layers come off and bikinis come on, as the city's pool/dayclub season kicks off. Want to know the hottest pool scenes for the coming season? Keep reading.

Playboy Pool at The Palms

The Palms' pool opens today, a few weeks earlier than usual, as a warmup for its annual Ditch Fridays pool parties. (We hear that season officially starts May 7.) Until then, guests and locals can expect weekend entertainment (and no cover charge!). Once Ditch Fridays take off, the hours will be extended until 7 p.m. What's new? Skinny Dip Tuesdays, when guests can swim at night (don't worry, suits remain on). On Fridays and Saturdays, poolside music has been extended to 2 a.m.

As of March 12, MGM Grand's Wet Republic will open.

But we hear that the talk of the town is the Encore Beach Club, which will be a 60,000-square-foot area featuring three pools, a nightclub, double-decker air-conditioned cabanas, a gaming pavilion and more. The $70 million project is slated to debut Memorial Day weekend.
