There’s a new luxury address on Italy’s Lake Como. According to The New York Times, the Villa Làrio just opened in June on the shores of the picturesque lake (which so captivated George Clooney, that he spends most vacations there). The Villa Làrio is housed in the former mansion of a noble Lombardy family, dating from the 19th century.

There are only nine guest suites, so the property has an exclusive and intimate feel- like you’ve taken up residence in a luxurious aristocrat’s home. With a dreamy infinity pool and a private pontoon with direct access to the lake, the Villa Làrio promises a glam guest experience. Did we mention the villa’s private boats for spins around the lake?

Many of the light-filled guest rooms have spacious terraces opening out on Lake Como. The Italian restaurant specializes in homemade pasta and fresh fish, and cooking classes can be arranged. Nice perk: Massages in the serene gardens!
