Virgin Atlantic Reinstates London to Mumbai Service

Virgin Atlantic has relaunched its flights from London Heathrow to Mumbai with two new A330 aircrafts. The more-than $485 million investment includes the latest Upper Class product to both Delhi and Mumbia from London.

"We are delighted to be back in this amazing city after four years," Sir Richard Branson said in a statement. "The importance of strengthening the connections between the economies of New York, London and Mumbai cannot be emphasized enough - our daily connecting service from Mumbai all the way to New York will be a winner for businesses across all three continents."

The airline expects to introduce a sixth daily service to New York, a nighttime departure from Heathrow which returns early the next day from JFK airport.
