W Guangzhou Marks W's Entry into Mainland China

Ready to be Wowed in China? We hear W Hotels Worldwide has debuted its first W hotel in Mainland China. The W Guangzhou opened earlier this month on the Pearl River, with 317 guest rooms and suites.

The entry into the hotel starts off with a bang. A 62-foot "Luminous Water Wall" by WETDesign greets guests as they enter.

Guest rooms range from Spectacular to WOW in seven different categories. All rooms have 46-inch LED HD TVs, sound systems, high-speed Wi-Fi and MP3 player plug-ins.

The signature WOOBAR will be available at the property, where mixologists and DJs mix drinks and tunes to set the mood. The Fei Ultralounge is an all-night dance facility. Yan Yu serves up Cantonese-style cuisine. For Japanese fare visit I by Inagiku, which has indoor and garden dining options, along with a Sake bar. At The Kitchen Table guests can have breakfast, lunch or dinner at large oversized tables with views into an open kitchen.

The AWAY Spa will be the first in China and will be a 24/7 retreat. There is also a SWEAT fitness center and a WET heated indoor pool
