Last Friday, April 1, wine connoisseurs flocked to Francis Ford Coppola's outdoor Winery Park in Alexander Valley, California. We hear the Winery Park 'wine wonderland' will be open every weekend this month, Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. through 6 p.m. On Sunday, May 1, the park will be open daily from 11 a.m. through 8 p.m. until September 30.
The Winery Park is a playground for the posh (think a 3,600-square-foot swimming pool and 28 cabines - European-style changing rooms). There is also an outdoor Pool Cafe, a performance Pavilion, four regulation-sized bocce courts and more.
